A gourmet, five star meal may taste the same if it is put on fine porcelain or on a paper plate, but it certainly will not look the same. O.K., perhaps we are exaggerating a bit, but wouldn’t you rather have your artwork spend eternity on a hand-made artisan looking, French Canvas pre-stretched canvas. Our canvases do not look like they were mass produced in a factory and have been sitting on a shelf for months collecting dust. That’s because they are not. They are hand made when you order them with a great attention to detail. It’s not just the quality of the products used from the canvas to the frame to the staples, it is also the way the corners are folded, the excess fabric that allows for future re-stretching, the tightness of the canvas.

Our prices are very competitive as well! You don’t have to buy five or ten of a size to get low prices—you can just buy one.

• Canvases available in three different depths:
  • 1 ½” deep (Heavy Duty)- only available up to 72” long to avoid warping issues.
  • 1 ¾” deep (Extra Heavy Duty)
  • 2 ½” deep (Super Extra Heavy Duty)
• All of our pre-stretched primed cotton canvases are made with a top quality, double primed acid free acrylic titanium, 100% cotton. Available in three weights: 7 oz., 10 oz., and 12 oz
• Cross bracing on all sizes listed below.
• Stretched with excess fabric on the back. Made in the tradition of Old World, European canvases.
• Corners on our canvases are hand folded on opposite sides.
• Canvases are carefully measured for 90° angles. Diagonal measurements are also taken.
• Extensor keys available upon request.
• Back stapled-- no staples on sides.
• A perfect tension of canvas throughout the frame!!!
• Suitable for all types of media.

Shipping and Shipping Charges
French Canvas ships all of its Continental US orders via Fed Ex GROUND unless told otherwise by the customer.  If you would like a faster service, please call us at 800 934 3424 or e-mail us at info@frenchcanvas.com.  We ship with up to 4 canvases in a box.  There are additional shipping charges for each Oversize ($25)  and Oversize Plus ($50) box in addition to general shipping charges.  There are no general shipping charges on any order over $250.  If you order just Oversize canvases, then you will be charged $25 per four canvases.  If you order a combination, you will be charged $50 for any box that contains Oversize Plus in it even if there are also just Oversize in that box.  Please review chart with general shipping charges.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call (800) 934 3424 or e-mail (info@frenchcanvas.com).
