Additional shipping charges may apply depending on the size and quantities being ordered.  In order to keep shipping prices as low as possible, French Canvas analyzes the most cost effective way to ship your order and will contact you afterwards with information on any potential additional shipping charges.  You may cancel the order if you decide that you do not want to pay shipping charges and receive a full refund.  

STEP 1: Determine the depth of your custom size canvas.  

French Canvas offers three different stretcher frame options: ¾” deep, 1 ½” deep, or 1 ¾” deep.  1 ½” depth is our most popular option.  ¾” deep is only recommended for works that will be framed and that are smaller than 36” x 36”.  Although the 1 ¾” depth is only ¼” deeper than the heavy duty 1 ½” option, it does stand out more on the wall and is recommended for any frame larger than 48” x 48”.

Standard Stretcher Bars are available in all  sizes from 4” to 60” although we do not recommend using the standard for a canvas larger than 36” x 36”.  Heavy Duty is available in all sizes from 8” to 72”, and the Extra Heavy Duty is available in sizes 8” to 96”.  Thus, if you want a 32” x 84”, your only option would be for Extra Heavy Duty.  If you want a 32” x 70” then you can go with a Heavy Duty or Extra Heavy Duty Frame.
